The Sear Is Over

I've been getting tattoos here and there since I was 18, and you slowly learn who you can trust, who does good work, and who just wants your money. I found Chris on the internet ( I forget how exactly ) about a year and a half ago and we exchanged emails here and there. His schedule was really hectic, and I was busy with work myself, so all communication kinda fizzled. Fast forward about a year later, and the tattoo "itch" i had turned into a full out unquenchable desire! I started the emails again and gave him a call. We went over some ideas and scheduled an appointment. He told me right away what he charges by the hour, but not to worry because he works "fast". Well, still being a little skeptical from previous experiences...I took that with a grain of salt. I showed up to his studio, and we sat down and went over a few ideas. I want a Koi fish added to the back of my calf, with some more stuff comin'. Finally got on the table, and holy shit. This dude FLEW! I sat through a 3 hr session and he got 99% of the entire piece done. He even came up with an idea to incorporate an old tattoo I have, and completely re-work it to make it something I wouldn't have event thought of in my wildest dreams. It HAD to be the "blood shovel" haha, that thing tore me up! I knew the next day how fast he worked wasn't a fluke. My leg was swollen as shit and I had a cankle and felt like it was on fire.

Moral of the story. After one visit to Chris, I'll never step foot in another tattoo shop as long as he is in the area. The work he does at the pace he does it, still maintaining the attention to detail , is amazing. Thanks Chris, and I'll be calling ya soon to schedule round 2!
